Two days for teachers taking on the library at their school. Day one is mechanics — accessioning, the colour-coded reading-level scheme, circulation without paperwork, and what to do when books go missing (mostly: nothing).
Day two is practice: running a reading hour, reading aloud, and administering the ASER-style oral assessment, which every participant practises on a real child before certification.
Led by Lakshmi Pothula, a retired Telugu pandit with thirty-one years in the ZP school system.
