What you are committing to
A monthly gift is how a school year works. Nothing is locked in — pause or stop from your donor account, and no child's support is put at risk when you do.
We plan against an academic year, June to April. At the end of it we write to you with what happened and ask whether you would like to carry on.
Sponsorship goes into the scholarship fund for the school, not one child’s envelope — no child is singled out, and none loses support if a sponsor stops.
Every rupee is spent through the school, signed off by the headmaster and the School Management Committee. We never move children out of their school.
Choose a level
Every figure is costed from what we actually spend per child and per school.
₹1,000/ month
Covers one child’s books, notebooks, uniform, bag and examination fees for a full academic year, plus the remedial reading support that keeps her from falling behind.
₹2,500/ month
Keeps a whole classroom of about 30 children supplied for the year, and funds the teaching aids a government per-pupil grant never stretches to.
₹5,000/ month
A working library with a trained librarian, a digital learning corner, annual health screening and repairs for one government school.
Something smaller works too — ₹500 a month goes into the same scholarship fund. Businesses adopting several schools can partner with us through CSR.
What you receive
Four honest paragraphs from a teacher are worth more than a glossy brochure.
A short note from the school on attendance, reading level and how the year is going — written by the teacher, not by a marketing team.
Once a year, in the child’s own handwriting and language, with a translation. Nothing is scripted and nothing is compulsory.

One consolidated certificate for the financial year, issued against your PAN and filed with the Income Tax Department in our Form 10BD return.
Child protection
These rules are absolute, and they cost us donors — we consider that an acceptable price.
Consent is recorded against each child — who granted it, what it covers and when it expires — and it can be withdrawn at any time, as the Digital Personal Data Protection Act requires.
Start this month
It is taken when you authorise the mandate, then on the same date each month. Change the amount, pause or stop it yourself, any time.
Eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G, with one consolidated certificate for the financial year.
