About this initiative
Because in our first reading survey, in 2018, a quarter of the children who "could not read" simply could not see the board. Spectacles fixed more reading levels that year than books did.

Medical students from Kakatiya Medical College and Mamata Medical College, supervised by a registered paediatrician, in coordination with the Primary Health Centre for the mandal. Every referral is handed to the PHC, not to us — the point is to connect the child to the public health system, not to substitute for it.

A full-day health camp at MPPS Gollapadu with vision screening, haemoglobin testing for adolescent girls, deworming and a dental check, run with the mandal PHC.
